What a cool game! At first I was a little "eh just having to sit back and see things run on their own, but I got absorbed by the importance of the arrangements and buffs of the password. Really neat aspect. I loved hearing the booms, too.
This caught my eyes because I had to learn the hard way of having a BUFF password (and I randomly felt like going on itch.io), so this was a very pleasant reminder to not be so careless about security.
Thanks so much Lio Lim for the amazing educational game. I had so much fun playing it. Keep up the amazing work and stay safe online and offline :) Ps, I have a 40 letter beast of a password now :D
If you are viewing it in a browser, you will see a "Play Game" button near the top of the page. I recommend using Google Chrome for this, but other browsers should work as well :)
If you are viewing it in the itch.io app, you can install it as you would any other game. An Install button should appear at the bottom right corner! (Might take a while to load haha)
very neat game that really emphasizes how to make passwords stronger! I will definitely be applying this to my own passwords so they won't be uncovered in just a few months, a quadrillion years is my goal!!
In 30 minutes and I learned a lot about making a powerful, easy-to-remember secure password! (especially that last one, hoo!) If you were to take out what few swear words there are then I'm confident this would be a great tool to teach kids, or adults in my case, through play!

This looks really cool, but I can't seem to get past the please enter your password screen? Neither clicking nor any keys seem to do anything, game is in focus.
NEVERMIND! I looked at the comments and see I have to type "password." Some emphasis on the next letter you need to type would probably help get this across a bit better.
Wow, that last password really did piss me off! Those pesky symbols used their AOE attack while all my letters rushed in and they got wrecked. Making my password longer or adding capital letters just delays the inevetable, as symbols are simply more powerful than letters. I had to grind a while to get more sybols and letters.
If this isn't the best way to prove a point with gameplay, I don't know what is. Good job!
Windows 10 with Ungoogled-Chromium. Just read the other comment though that said I needed to actually type "password" though. My mistake because I was trying to use something akin to a legitimate password that I would actually use. My mistake, but that requirement could have been a bit clearer.
Oh, oh...... OH! Alright, yeah that was probably the problem. I was trying to use something similar to what I would actually use IRL, but I get my mistake now. Thanks!

What issues are you facing?
If your game doesn't load at all, you might have blocked cookies!
If you are stuck in the tutorial, try typing "password"!

for one could you make this downloadable,
2 it'd be neat if when you beat all the passwords you could copy the resulting password

Doesn't work for some reason. It loads, I can click "log in" but them am unable to type anything in where it asks for me to submit a password.
